I just installed MYBB and testing things. When trying a new registration the captcha code is not there---only the background. Any ideas ??

Are there any alternatives like plugins for the capthca? The gd is working okay --- used in another app on the site with no problems.
There's a recaptcha plugin. Nonetheless, you should report this issue to your host, as it's not a MyBB problem.
