Hi all,

I'll get straight to it. Started installing mybb for the first time, have had a reasonably smooth process up till now. When I'm entering my database and putting in the database logins etc. I can't seem to get my login details for the database to be recognized.

I'm currently using Media Temple as my host, I'm pretty sure I've done everything right but I'm not entirely sure.

Any Ideas would be very helpful.

Did you create a database, and assign user to it?

There's little we can suggest here as we don't know what your database details are meant to be any more than you do. You'd be better off asking your host what they need to be or where to find them.

Thanks Matt, Fixed the problem. Turns out I wasn't using the correct host name.
