Hello Everyone,

So the upgrade just went well from my phpBB3 3.0.6 t myBB 1.6 The only problem is that the myBB forums show 1,661 posts and 163 Topics while I only have Total posts 1501 | Total topics 162 (phpBB)

other problem is that I have phpBB in public_html directory and myBB is installed in a folder called "myBB" (within the public_html directory with phpBB) how do I make sure myBB takes control over phpBB without losing anything so that then people can go to my site like gt.x10.mx and not gt.x10.mx/mybb

Admin CP > Tools & Maintenance > Recount & Rebuild

What about other query ?

Delete phpBB and copy + paste all MyBB files to public_html.

Go to inc/settings.php to adjust board URL and cookie settings.

Go to the ACP and change the values of the settings in there.

Done!

edit: it still shows 1,661 posts in 163 threads even after recount

^ the forum counters at present add to total 163 threads and 1661 posts ...

anything to worry about? :s
