Seen this post about e107. Pretty crappy to me seeing that other free forums offer converters without the attitude like SMF. Well anyway gues what http://www.diporg.com is making a plugin for e107 and other CMS's.

Quote:We are making the e107 CMS integration plugin:
With it you can simply integrate all types of cms with mysql to e107!
So we will stop making the e107phpbb plugin, because this will do exactly the same, but with all the CMS!
So, you can integrate e107 with phpbb; punbb; smf; xmb; vanilla; usebb; phorum, but it don't ends here: you can use it with mambo, joomla, phpnuke, drupal.... And with e107!
With e107?
Yes! So you can have a e107 instalation with 100 sub-e107 installations, 486 sub-phpbb installations, 987 sub-joomla installations, with only one limit: Your disk space...
Coming soon... very soon.

I would go over there and request that MyBB be added if its not already.

Quote:But the CMS file I want isn't at diporg. What can I do?
If the CMS is free and/or opensource you can ask us to create it for you, but if you want a file to integrate a paid CMS, you need to create the CMS file. Look for the template.

So what exactly is your request?

I believe he wants a request from mybb staff to have a converter made.
I am not requesting nothing. I am letting people know they do not have to convert anything if the only reason they are converting is cause their CMS does not support or come with the php forum they want to use. Like using MyBB with e107. That plugin with will allow e107 to use MyBB, phpbb, etc... as the main forum. And as you can see from that page it will work with more than just e107.
Ahh..I see you are complaing that mybb staff doesn't want to do the work of other forum software writers.

Can you show me where SMF has converters FROM SMF to another software?
Not complaining about anything read above post just letting people know they do not have to convert anything if the only reason they are converting is cause their CMS does not support or come with the php forum they want to use.
