My forum seems to be very slow, it takes a while to load pages.
It is notable that this issue only seems to occur when viewing something that contains posts.
For example, clicking on the Search, Member List or Calendar works fine.
However the home page takes time and threads are slow too.
Generated in 0.4623911 seconds (15.25% PHP / 84.75% MySQL)
SQL Queries: 32 / Global Parsing Time: 0.1825972 / Memory Usage: 10 MB
PHP version: 5.2.17 / Server Load: 1.62 / GZip Compression: Enabled

What plugins do you have installed? 32 queries is quite a few.
Your parse time is fast enough.
Is it possible someone has images in posts, sigs,or avatars that's slowing the page load?
What about any extra javascript you might run like social networking widget?
It's the same for the blog. The issue stopped a few days ago but returned again. The host is looking in to it, without successs.

The issue is the same for new threads, with say one reply.

Did you patch MyBB 1.6.4 as posted recently? If you were hacked from this vulnerability it could slow load times.

Google SEO can at times cause slowdown depending on your site
Who are you running ads from?
The rest of your plugins appear fine.
I do see some jquery code. It's possible that could be related.

Google SEO - would it not occur all the way around? Or just on threads?
Ads - that is our own hosted image/link, it's a direct agreement. No 3rd party.
jquery - care to explain? I'm not familiar with this.

They're looking in to it, but how can it be that it's only threads and the homepage that takes time to load even though the database connection is fine?
