You can notice that i have changed the background colour to white and i am currently editing my forum around to suit the background. Unfortunately i do not know how to change the overall text color to black.

How would i do this?

The color coordination is really messed up.

ACP/TEMPLATE & STYLE/ THEME/ GLOBAL.CSS

Just go to Advanced CSS, and the second line it will say backround.

background: #000000;

Inside Themes > Your Theme > global.css, change the color attribute of #container to #000000 (black color). You'd also need to change other properties if you want to change to black color in various other parts other than container.

Hmmm, i've already done that.

View my forum and you can see what text i need to become black. Category descriptions, footer and the basic forum statistics.

Yes i understand, any idea what parts i will have to change for them places to become black text?
