Hi,
I changed mySQL password accidently on my server side. Now I have to somehow find it again, either within the files of my forum or on my server. I contacted my host and so far no success. Is there away to figgure out the password for mysql Database?
My site is www.littlebritain.net and when triing to access it :
mySQL error: 1045
Access denied for user 'lbforum'@'EUROPA' (using password: YES)

so I have no idea where I can find the origional password....
can anyone help.... I would very much appreciate that...

Oh my! I did the exact same thing! LOL...Look in your config.php file (in your forum/inc directory). The password is in there! Then you can either edit the password in that file and upload...or change your password back in MySql. Good luck getting it sorted out!

Though I can see that you must have remembered your old password, since your forum is back up! I'm sure you're relieved. I know I freaked out when it happened to me!
