Same here. That's why I dev my stuff with my tools then crowbar it into those boxes.

blogging solution? Serendipity hands down. It has the best theming system with smarty templating. It has a great API for plugins.

It is robust and has a ton of options. It is hands down better than wordpress...I was a diehard WP user for a while...but once I found serendipity, I was set. http://s9y.org

I use the portal for my main website, and soon, MyBB Templates will feature the same thing.
