you should not have had to use upgrade.php.

double check the ACP settings for the cookie path should simply be /
and cookie domain should simply be .thefreeweb.org

your smilie issue looks to be a permissions problem. i can see the listing of the images, but when I click them I get a 404 error. verify that the actual smilie files are owned by your account and set to 644 or higher

I checked the permissions and the folder is set to 666 the smiles inside are 644 Yet when I use the smiles in there to test I just get the same thing... :smiley: I just do not understand why.

there they are.. when I upload them and open the folder on OIC... I can only add them one by one the mass add does not work but if I add them one by one they show up...
Then that is how I will do it .. and it is solved for now.. thank you so much for the help!
