I'm looking for plugin which allows users of my forum to add a tag [hide] for example, which would hide their content of the thread until a member reply.

However, this is for 1.4.* series, I am on 1.6.3 and looking for 1.6.3 one if possible!

to the list of versions it works with (the "compatibility" line)?

Nope, doesn't work. It requires edits to be done
