Hi Guys,

I host a forum for a group of guys http://www.nort4x4forums.co.uk and Norton and AVG are telling people there is a trojan in the showthread.php file. My server Virus Scanner confirms this.

Could someone help me out please?

Common sense would be to reupload showthread.php, change the control panel password, change the database password, and get your host to run a scan on the server to other malicious files.

re-upload a fresh copy of showthread.php file from your version of myBB's latest download package
AND also check for changed files through file verification tool from tools & maintenance section ...
