I need some basic etiquette for being an affiliate. Is there some sort of generally accepted place to display the other person's banner? For example, do people expect it to be visible on the forum index page the way the affiliate manager plugin does it.
Because what I was thinking was creating a sticky message in my main information forum and putting them in there. Or creating a page using Page Manager and putting affiliates there (although I'm not sure where I would link in from). Or Would this be considered not good enough. I don't want to piss anyone off.
Anyway, what do you think? What do affiliates expect. What method do you use?
