Why the shoutbox is not refreshing, always saying "loading"???

Do you have Javascript disabled in your browser? (Posting the URL of your site would help too - and a test account if guests can't use the shoutbox.)

And I believe you need at least one post in the shoutbox to start it going. (I've never used that one.)
