My new domain for some reason has the /index.php at the end of it, rather than just ending with the .net. Is there anyway I can sort that out at all as I see others do not have it.

Thank you for the link buddy, how can I tell if I have the "Apache web server and mod_rewrite is enabled!" installed or not. To be honest I have idea what it is, also should I resubmit my forum to google and yahoo again with the new URL or would it not matter.

Cheers
