There is a stupid bug where is edit the images in cpanel it doesn't affect mybb themes. You have to fix that for this version.

well, browser cache needs to be refreshed !!

Clear your browser cache. It's not a MyBB bug at all.

Its quite common that whether a problem is with hosting, or browser or the users internet connection itself, MyBB would always take the blame.
