How do I get smilies, and what's, "Text To Replace"?

You can get smilies from websites like http://mysmilies.com .. A google search should yield good results.

I am not sure about your other question.

"Text to Replace" is what the smiley will replace if your user types in a certain combination. For example on my site, if I type *shake*, a cute shaking smiley will replace that text. If you import multiple smilies at once, which is easier, the system will default some text to replace for you. You can either go with what is there or edit to your choosing!
