Just a quick one here for some reason most the time when someone registers, I notice that they do not always activate the account, so I have to activate it for them sometimes via the mybb backend, is it ok to change the settings to auto activated.

Meaning members do not need to go and click on the activation link sent out via email.

It is a decent idea but it some times opens gates for spammers/bots.
But I have seen many forums which have auto activate.
