I would quite like to see this feature implemented, like in ipb and xenforo but i think ipb do it better. even if it was only a plugin some one was willing to make.
The idea is when you hover your mouse over a user name you get a mini profile popup that show status posts avatar and various other info i can provide screen shots if any one wants to see exactly what i mean.
