How do I get a navbar for the very top of the page which does not refresh when you click on links.

For example, the links at the top of the page controls the content below. If someone could tell me what that's called, if it has a name as I want to implement it on MyBB.

A frameset.

It's not advised, frames are so 5 years ago.

Just been looking into this a little further... does AJAX seem like a possibility to implement into MyBB easily?
