I would like to make it were moderators can edit/delete post and sticky post but not ban people on super mods can ban.

In your ACP either change the permissions for the moderators, or make a new group with custom perms, (so you still have the original settings for the 'unused' mods group, which you might use later)
how do i edit the permissions?
