I am new with the whole development of forums it would be fantastic to get some tips from all of you advanced gurus out there, I have been implementing SEO to the forum already using my expertise, I offer SEO as a business you see along with other things etc...

I don't really want to spam forums with my links or anything, so just trying to find out any other ways I can get some loyal members to stay active.

On my forum I do not charge for members to sell in the offers section, heck I have not added an upgrade members area nor a donations either.

So far I have written articles and developed videos and submitted them to all of the most popular directories out there on the net, along with back link building which consists of getting my link placed on some high PR blogs by the owners.

Plus other methods on top of that, on topic please feel free to give me some pointers, they will be very welcomed indeed and I will appreciate the help greatly.

This is my forum here if you have any suggestions or advice based on improving it that would also be great, I understand that the side bar needs more icons, along with sorting out some other basic bits on there.

Design / Theme = TOP priority

I'm more than happy with the theme itself, it needs some modifications but that will come soon, I just need tips on how to get more members in this thread as the title says.
Subscribe to Lisa's channel, she gives out some amazing tips on building traffic and earning money (she earns something around 4000$ per month using AdSense)

This is not really related to me getting members, seems to be more about making money and so on, as mentioned as the title says I am just looking for tips on getting members.

The links you have posted seem to be about someone talking of making money, gaining traffic to blogs and so forth which is not really what I need.

I have an unlimited source of traffic, hence why my stats are so high on my domains on a daily basis, thank you for posting the links but it's not really what I am looking for at all.
Unique content + SEO.
Anyone have any useful tips for me please.

I've given you the best one there is. I don't see what else you expect.

Search engines absolutely love unique content. As long as your site is optimized and your content is available via Google, there's not much else you can do.

Advertise, keep your members informed, and the rest will follow.
Too many forums, common rookie mistake.
Seeing 20 categories with 1 posts puts me off, but if I'd see 1 category with 20 posts or two categories with 10 posts, I'd be more inclined to enter one of several discussions I could find there.
AKA:
Make one who forum for development, one whole for search engine optimization, later if it gets filled and a particular topic overtakes, give it it's own forum if you deem it necessary to still let the other topics get some attention.

PS:

Then what is this ?
Quote: IMF Private Members Area IMF Private Members Area
Upgraded members area for discussing advanced ideas Strategies & Plans.
Honesty is also important...

I have already added SEO value as it's what I provide for a living to my clients, I was just wondering if there are other ways to get members, to be honest I'm pretty shocked that you say there's no other ways.

I guess I'll have to sit back and let them come to me in that case then, thank you for letting me know I shall keep adding content and SEO.

As it's an Internet Marketing forum I need to have pretty much all the usual sections linked with it, I agree that the forum needs way more content. But then it's back to the main issue of not having the members to add the content in the first place you see.

I am unsure how to get fresh content without grabbing it from other forums, which is something I have stopped myself from doing as I thought there was an unwritten rule saying it's not something one should do.
