Title pretty much explains it. Something similar to Geek's plugin would be perfect. (http://mods.mybb.com/view/fit-on-page) It's mainly JS so it wouldn't increase any server load, and it's pretty much necessary unless you want stretched out post containers.

That would probably be for attachments, but not hotlinked images. (Similar to how it is at the moment)
