As I said, add a new cron job in cPanel.

php /home/user/public_html/task.php x

Replace the path with where mybb is, and replace x with the task id.
I think it works now. It seemed to but I won't get to excited yet.
AAAAAHHHHHHH. It dont work I have to refresh the page for it to run the task and the whole point is that I dont need to be on the forum,
Still doesnt work, created a cron task and it doesnt work.
What command are you using? Are you sure the task id is correct? And that you've disabled the original task?
Command: php /home/user/public_html/forum/task.php 21
Id: Correct

What do you mean, do I need to disable it from task manager?
running that task every minute is going to get your site looked into by whatever feeds you are pulling. i would block you at the firewall for eating my bandwidth and resources.

be responsible and pull every 15 minutes or so.

Is your username you login to cpanel 'user'?
