I know, but whether I type in mybb.com or mybboard.net it takes me to that website.

Maybe it's ip based? Like a GeoiP rule or something. Have you tried using googles DNS? Maybe it's you ISP rerouting traffic

Check your hosts file. Your computer might be infected.
