So, my forum have been loading very slow in the past, and I and my host's support team found out that the page generation is quick, but my forum is trying to contact the IP 91.196.216.30 which does not exist so it times out at about 8-9 seconds and loads the page.

This only happens at the index page, not the portal, members list, CP and so on. Where do I start? I have tried disabling plugins etc.

run the file verification tool in the ACP to see what, if anything, has been changed

I just replaced the index.php in the root of FTP, with a brand new one Don't delete in case someone has the same problem
