MyBB Community Forums

As much as I love general forums they don't seem to do well. Or am I wrong? If you could administrate is accordingly and do something different then any of the above ideas would be good enough for you. I recommend choosing a genre of which interests you the most.

General forums rarely do well because they have no topic or goal. Eventually they either turn nasty and get filled with trolls, or they get filled with spammers, and real members leave. I would say general discussion forums are one of the hardest to manage, because it is difficult to say "you cant post that here"
