Hello.

For my forum, I attempted to perform a quick test to see what it would be like for a random user to register for my forum.

When I registered, I received the following email below:

"To complete the registration process on Konnect Magazine, you will need to go to the URL below in your web browser.

http://www.konnectmagazine.com/forum/mem...e=ybncU9cK

If the above link does not work correctly, go to

http://www.konnectmagazine.com/forum/mem...n=activate

You will need to enter the following:
Username: xxxxxx
Activation Code: xxxxxxxxxxxx"


To the myBB community, click on the first link. I'm wondering why it does to that location rather than the forum screen that the activation is completed.

Any suggestions why?

PLEASE ignore my response
you have opted for instant activation AND it requires a simple validation from newly registered users.
they need to click on a link / enter validation details . it is one of the prevention methods for bots registration.

You do not have Google SEO configured correctly.
