Is it able to clear a user id??? I mean when one user registers an id (eg. uid = 10) is assigned to him...when his account is deleted, tht uid is not cleared...new user will get next uid, not the same one...
Can anyone pls give a step by step procedure to clear unused user ids?????
Can't, you can reset the "PRIMARY KEY" (to do that you should first delete everything in your table), but you can't use only unused ones, it defeats the whole point of a PRIMARY KEY (uid in that case), (never in time 2 instances should share the same key = never in time 2 users should share the same UID, even if one of these users has been deleted)...
No there's no way to clear them...and I have no idea why you would want to. Seems like a pointless waste of time. Deleting a UID and having someone register and get that same UID isn't even logical...
