This thread is no longer accurate, I've gained a partner with much more skill than me in design (While I'm now strictly doing the coding), and with the increase in speed of completion and quality of design a price increase has occurred. Hope anyone reading this can understand.

That's perfectly fine. Everyone should know a good design is good quality. And you pay for the quality you would like.
