I have multiple user groups and promotion rules setup

Namely,
>= 3 posts : Junior Member, from Registered
>= 10 posts: Member, from Junior Member
etc

But unfortunately every user is a Registered member. Promotion does not work.

Yes, they have logged in and out. I must add that this forum was originally on VB 4.2 and was converted with the merge tool (yes, I know it officially supports only 3.8 VB)


Edit: I was doing some maintainence on the database and had to revert to an older database. It works on that, so I will keep tracking what plugin made it buggy.

I don't *think* this would be a merge system problem. However, you may want to check out Merge Support just in case.
