I have some code that I want to put into all the template files. All the code goes into the same part of the template, is there a way that I can put insert the code into all the templates without having to go through every single one pasting in the code?

would you like elaborate your requirement ...
if you want to use the code to appear on all the pages then add to header / footer template ..
