I don't necessarily want to use, but want to have the ability to have some sort of in depth experience points system on (my) a MyBB forum. I would like ideas/thoughts/resources on this.

Something that would incorporate:

Posts/Threads
Thanks Received
Threads Marked Solved
Entries into showcase
Best answers received
Time online (maybe)

Do you rekon this could this be done by just adding and changing the reputation system?
(i.e i think it is possible to just add the # of thanks received onto the reputation system, and scale it appropriately).

And secondly, what would be the best way to actually represent this points system.

Would a 'points' bar work well, or a meter? How about incorporating Levels once you pass a certain amount of points.

Interested to hear your ideas, and what is currently out there that could be combined.

MySupport can be integrated with NewPoints and has mark as best answer.

NewPoints also has forum rues that add more points per post/thread depending on the forum, usergourp, etc.
