New install http://azbird.net/sightings/ opens fine, but the Admin panel has no language!

User CP and Mod CP are fine ...

Are your admin language files uploaded and CHMODed correctly?

inc/languages/english/admin

Set to 666 as far as I can see.

Could the other CP options be populated if the CHMOD is incorrect?

Make sure the folder is CHMOD 755.

No change. None of the menus are populated.

Hmm. Try CHMODing them a bit higher then.

A-ha! Set them all to 777 and its all working.

Hosts are different about how they treat CHMOD. A CHMOD on one host may not work on another. Glad you got it solved.
