Afternoon,
I have removed the right for the default member and guest groups to view the memberlist. We also wish to remove the right for them to see the forum team as we are using that for a special purpose.
How can I go about making the "Can View Member List" tick box in Admin Settings for those groups also remove the forum team viewing rights.

Yep!
I want to hide it from basic members and also guests.
I am also having trouble with it not showing all the groups I have ticked the show group box for. Where is it controlled from? what .php. It seems to max at out at showing 7 groups?

I have been messing around for about an hour trying to get it to work now.
Essentially this is the list of pain
- Not allowing me to block access (via URL or via link) to some groups
- Only displaying at max 7 groups
- Not showing members in all groups, some are showing primary only, some are showing all
If people can help with 1 or all 3 it would greatly help me.

But if you only want to disable users from the showteam page, probably crazy4cs will provide a better code for it.
Cheers for the offer. We host mini-clans called factions who play a game as a certain Space Marine chapter or Chaos Warband and we are using the forum team page to display membership by group. It's a convenient way of doing it for us, but we ran into the 3 above issues

That plugin is fascinating but the tutorial does not mention forum pages. If you would mind pointing me towards the command I'd need then that would solve one of the 3 issues.

http://community.mybb.com/thread-105974.html is blank. I can see the tabs and the selectable area in the left column (where "My Permissions" should appear) but they are blank.
Use this plugin, I'll submit it to mods site now, pretty simple.

Just upload it to ./inc/plugins and activate it. From settings, specify usergroups that you want to block from seeing showteam page.

Any chance you could give me some advice pertaining to the other issues? Ie the forum team page only showing 7 groups max?
