I just manually removed the Game Section to be left with the following issue:

MyBB has experienced an internal SQL error and cannot continue.

SQL Error:
2002 - Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (2)
Query:
[READ] Unable to connect to MySQL server

Won't let me log into phpmyadmin either.

Any advice?

Contact your host. The MySQL server isn't running.

Was an issue their end which was rather coincidental. None of the theme is loading at the moment so lets hope it all settles down shortly.
