MyBB Community Forums

I have a staff area for one of my forums, and to guests, the staff section shows up on the index, but they obviously cannot access its contents based on permissions. In 1.6.4, guests couldn't even see the forum, how can I achieve this?

ACP > Configuration > Forum Home Options > Hide Private Forums? > Yes

ACP > Forums & Posts > *Staff Forum* > Check the permissions.

I feel dumb. Thank you!
