MyBB Community Forums

Hi,

I have a custom built forum. It is written in the most recent versions of Perl and MySQL. I have been using and enhancing it over the last 12 years, it has about 200,000 posts and 40,000 userids and I run it on a dedicated linux server running the lastest release of Apache.

I am considering migrating it to myBB. Is this doable? Does the myBB Merge apply here? Are there any guides docs on doing this?

Or should I just continue to do my own thing, write all the stuff that is missing in my forum which is considerable.....and which may be killing my sites traffic.

If you're interested I can take a look and make a bid on how much I would charge to make this module. Otherwise, if you're planning on making it yourself just take a gander at the existing merge system code.
