I have supeciouions that the host might be getting dosed, He forced all usrrs to change their password.
ddos has nothing to do with passwords though.

Yeah! People who DDOS calls themselves as hackers; but that doesn't mean they can get your passwords by DDOSing your site.
If your host asked you to change your passwords, its proably because of a server issue.
If you "think" it's a DDOS then it might just be somebody is DDOSing your server with some one else's IP that located on that same server. Don't think it's your site.
