Hi,
i want to add favicon in the toolbar ...for the forum...
can someone tell me which templated to i need to edit for this so i can see the favicon icon in the toolbar when the users browses through the forum....

You don't need any template edit.

Upload 'favicon.ico' to your forum root. It might not show at first but that's because your browser needs to cache it before it can be displayed.

Using that is a waste of resources. A favicon doesn't require a plugin or modification of any kind.

Thanks for replying ......it worked out welll

i added a favicon to my root and i did a hard refresh (ctrl+F5) and i also cleared my browser's cache and cookies and also restarted the browser and restarted my computer, still nothing. i have read that i have to add 2 lines of code to the index.html header in order for it to work (im using firefox) how can i access this file to edit it and add the lines of code?
