I display MyBB RSS feeds in Wordpress widgets, using RSS2.0
After updating to MyBB 1.6.5 those widgets stop working.
But they are works if I change rss links to Atom 1.0.
So... I think there some incomplete compatibility problems with RSS2.0 in MyBB 1.6.5.
Anyone Else Have This Problem?
Do you mean the rss feeds from mybb.com, or your own forum?
I don't believe there are any known problems with the RSS feeds. I ran the feed here through a validator and there are no errors as such, just a few recommendations.
well... they works in browser feed-reader (opera for example), but don't work with wordpress anymore
If it's still an issue, you can use a service like
FeedBurner and run your forum RSS feed through there, then you'll have a feed like
feeds.feedburner.com/yourforumname which should work. Works alot better in my opinion.
I'm started this thread to pay attention to possible bug. I'm still can use normal mybb feeds in wordpress using atom 1.0 protocol.
