Hello,
I would like to introduce you to my new addon for MyBB called "SEO Titles".
This plugin impove forum subpages titles (add page number and forum name) for search engines robots.

After active plugin, title looks as follows:
Thread: Thread_prefix - Thread_name - Page_number - Forum_name
Category: Category_name - Page_number - Forum_name
etc.

Using this plugin, we can avoid the problem of double titles (monits for example in Google Webmaster Tools).
I know, that many users use Google SEO, my addition complements its and eliminates duplicates in titles.
Installation is very simple - just upload and activate.
Plugin is full compatible with MyBB 1.6.5 and with older versions from MyBB 1.6

Change page titles... I can not explain it in another way.
Small example - this thread on MyBB Support has title "SEO Titles".

It isn't good in search results, beacuse user don't know anything else about site - of course he/she can look to address, but it isn't intuitive. If you activated this plugin, the title would look like this:

SEO Titles - MyBB Community Forums

can this plugin help in browser search or forum search

No, because it isn't needed - search robots can't use forum search.

As a beginner and not a developer, am a little confused, as usual

Does this plugin make it so the forum user 'search' (forgetting about browser searching) will also search for forum titles in addition to text in the thread posts (currently user search does not seem to look at forum titles, as far as can determine) ?

If not, is there a place to look for such a plugin or ACP modification ?

Sounds like not what looking for... best described by attached scnshot ?
How to include forum titles (have lots of them, and key to site use), not just thread titles, in user forum search ?

Unfortunately this plugin does not provide this search option.
I do not know the plugin, which would allow to do something like that.

If you want to restrict your search to specific forums you can use the forum selection box below the search field. As such there is no need to search for forum names in the first place.
