Hi, I want to create a group where all posts require moderation.

The reason I would like this group is so all my forums new members are placed in to this group for there first 5 posts so I can check to see if there real people or spammers.

Please help this beginner.

Edit the usergroup settings of the Awaiting ACtivation group, then make a group promotion so after five posts the user is moved to the registered group.

Ok cheers. but what if they actervate them selfs with the email?

You can change the activation method to administrator activation.

I don't think that works. I just tried to edit group settings and there is no option to mod all posts. Thats what I'm after. Being able to set user group to mod all posts.

How can I make the registered user group as a whole be moderated as standard?

That way all new members will have to be moderated and once they have made 5 posts they are promoted.
