after the disclaimer screen, it prompts 404 error.how can i fix this?

is it while registering OR after login ? do you have a separate (custom) disclaimer page ?

After registering..

no, i don't have a custom disclaimer page. i didn't change it

run file verification tool from tools & maintenance section of admin panel to check for changed files ..

i've runfile verification tool

should i upload the new ones from mybb1.6.5?

^ if you had not modified them then re-upload from myBB 1.6.5 ..

I have to modify the functions.php later for it will be used for google seo

^ modifying functions.php for Google SEO needs to be done by the Google SEO plugin.
would you like to provide temporary admin privileges & ftp access to check the issue ..
