In all my forum headers, there's a little square of blue colour, no matter what colour I change the .thead to in global.css....any way to get rid of it?

it appears to be a background image , which is coded to fill-up thead block ..

Where can I find the area to edit this?

Admin CP -> Templates & Style > Theme name -> global.css

Then locate the thead part.
