It says I have logged in correctly and then when it goes back to the index, it shows I still have to log in. I'm pretty sure this could be a cookie issue, but I have no clue how to fix it.

It could be from your browser (check cookie settings) or from your boards settings: for example, your cookie path

It doesn't sound like I can check my board settings if I can't log-in to get inside my admincp..
And I'm not sure how to check my cookie settings in google chrome.

so what actually fixed this issue?? I just installed MyBB and set up my admin user name and password. When i go to login it says "logging in" but then it says logged in as guest... how do i remedy this situation??
