Hello,

Is there anyway I can increase the size of the background image? I would like to add a big background image filling the entire sceen, but at the moment the background image seems to be small images but repeated.

You would want a bigger image - a small one enlarged would make for a very pixelated background.

If you really want to, consider the size around 1600x1200 to support most screen resolutions.

Most common resolution is 1024x768, according to http://www.w3counter.com/globalstats.php . Make it somewhere around that size if you are going to do anything.

But keep in mind the loading time of your site. If you put a 600 KB image in the background, people with slow internet connections and mobile users will have no fun loading your page.
