I've only installed myBB a couple of days ago, but I've noticed that the thread details (location of mini-profile/poster info and text colour) changes depending on what account I'm logged into. Administration/Moderation displays the text as grey, but when logged out or logged in as a regular user it displays it as the default black (which is a problem as my skin/theme is dark). Also, the admin account displays the mini-profile/poster info on the top, while logged out/regular members have it displayed on the left (which I want it to be displayed on, and have so checked in the ACP)

I have no other themes installed. I'm using 1.6.4 (downloaded early November) (upgrading to 1.6.5 soon).

not sure about text colors ; needs to be checked with a test user account

AND regarding the post style (vertical / horizontal) , user control panel has an option for
the members to select required style. however you can use force postbit layout plugin
