I'm looking for a new Graphics card, for around £135 ($160?).

Im looking at a Radeon HD6870 (This one: http://www.ebuyer.com/279585-xfx-hd-6870...-687a-zhfc ).

Any reason not to get that one? Or any better one?

Link is 6870, not 8570, does an 8000 series exist? I mean, I could be wrong since I don't follow ATI cards, but I don't think it does. Not for that cheap anyway if it did XD

My bro's laptop have ATI card, its OK but not as good as compared to others. I love to stay or go with Nvidia though, they seem to suit me fine as per my needs.

ASUS Radeon HD 6770 great cooling great performance great oc-ablility.

Yeah I agree, I think the GTX 550 Ti out performs the HD 6770, especially in most games.

It's not of a price difference, I seen them mostly for about $130 - 160, depending on sale & store.

Though if you could afford more, like $200 - 250, I'd consider the 560 Ti.

Yeah, I heard totalbiscuit giving away a 560ti I'm torn between them. I don't know if I can justfiy a 560ti for the amount (and games) I play

A 6870 will outperform both, a 550 and 560.

Beats 560 on BF3, but not 560 Ti.

But yeah, in this case then, the 6870 sounds like the better bang for the buck at $160!

Why are you buying a card when they are about to release a new line, and lower the price of this line a craptonne.
