I am getting this message when I try to get to my site.

MyBB has experienced an internal SQL error and cannot continue.

SQL Error:
2006 - MySQL server has gone away
Query:
SELECT * FROM mybb_mytabs_settings
Please contact the MyBB Group for support.

Can anyone tell me what this is about?

It's a host issue. You need to contact them.
