How do I upgrade MyBB to 1.6 without it making changes to what I have already. I'm sure like time I did this, it really messed things up so I'm a little worried about doing it but I feel it should be done.

Take a backup of your site first then Upgrade the site without anything to worry about. Wink

But all changes to the theme were done on the Master Theme.... Confused

^ can't you take backup of the theme(s) with its templates (thru theme export) ...

Delete inc/settings.php.
